রমজান মাসের অনেক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করেl এর তাৎপর্য অনেক বেশিl রোজা
আমাদেরকে অনেক সওয়াবের মাস হিসেবে আমাদের কাছে এসেছেl যারা এই মাসে রোজা
পালন করবে, তাদেরকে আল্লাহ রাব্বুল আলামিন নিজ হাতে রোজা রাখার পুরস্কার দান করবেনl
তাই আমাদের কর্তব্য হলো: আমরা যেন ফরজ রোজা রাখতে পারি এবং কি এই মাসে বেশি বেশি
করে সকল ইবাদত করতে পারি সে ব্যাপারে আমাদেরকে প্রস্তুত হতে হবেl
এক মাস আমাদের জন্য আল্লাহ রাব্বুল আলামীন রোজাকে ফরজ করেছেন। রোজা হলো
ইসলামের ফরজ বিধানগুলোর মধ্যে অন্যতম।
আর শরীয়তের পরিভাষায় সওম বলা হয়,
সুবহে সাদিক থেকে সূর্যাস্ত পর্যন্ত রোযার নিয়তে পানাহার, স্ত্রী সহবাস সকল কাজ থেকে বিরত
থাকা।
রমজানের গুরুত্ব ও ফজিলত:
রমজানের গুরুত্ব সম্পর্কে এখন আমরা জানবোl তার সঙ্গে
আমরা জানবো ফজিলত সম্পর্কেl চলুন তাহলে কোরআন হাদিসের আলোকে এ সম্পর্কে
বিস্তারিত ভাবে জেনে নেওয়া যাকl

আল্লাহ তাআলা সূরা বাকারার ১৮৩ নং আয়াতে বলেন,
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ
হে ঈমানদারগণ! তোমাদের উপর রোযা ফরয করা হয়েছে, যেমন ফরয করা হয়েছিল
তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের উপর, যেন তোমরা মুত্তাকী হতে পার।
হযরত মুসা আ. এর উপর ৪০ দিন রোজাকে ফরজ করেছিলেন। এ ছাড়াও অন্যান্য আরো
অনেক নবীর উপর রোজাকে ফরজ করেছেন।
রমজান মাসে একজন মুসলমানের জন্য রোজা রাখা ফরজ। এই সম্পর্কে আল্লাহ সূরা বাকারার
১৮৫ নং আয়াতে বলেন,
فَمَنْ شَهِدَ مِنْكُمُ الشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ
সুতরাং তোমাদের মধ্যে যে ব্যক্তিই এ মাস পাবে, সে যেন অবশ্যই রোযা রাখে।
এই সম্পর্কে শুধু কুরআনে নয়, হাদীসেও নবীজি সা. ইরাশাদ করেছেন। সহীহ বুখারীর ১৯০৯ নং
হাদীসে নবীজি সা. বলেন,
إذا رأيتم الهلال فصوموا وإذا رأيتموه فافطروا، فإن غم عليكم فصوموا ثلاثين،
যখন তোমরা (রমযানের) চাঁদ দেখবে, তখন থেকে রোযা রাখবে আর যখন (শাওয়ালের) চাঁদ দেখবে, তখন থেকে রোযা বন্ধ করবে। আকাশ যদি মেঘাচ্ছন্ন থাকে তবে ত্রিশ দিন রোযা রাখবে।
নবীজি এখানে স্পষ্ট বলেছেন, রমজানের চাঁদ দেখার সাথে সাথেই রোজা ফরজ হয়ে যায়।
আর ২৯ দিন পর যদি শাওয়ালের চাঁদ দেখা যায়, তাহলে আর রোজা রাখতে হবে না।
কিন্তু যদি শাওয়ালের চাঁদ দেখা না যায়, তাহলে তখনো রোজা ফরজ থাকবে। মুসলমানদের ৩০
দিন রোজা পূর্ণ করতে হবে।
কোনো ব্যক্তি যদি রমজান মাসে অলসতা করে বা ইচ্ছাকৃতভাবে রোজা ভঙ্গ করে বা রোজা না
রাখে তাহলে ইসলামের এই ফরজ বিধান না মানার কারণে সে মারাত্মক গোনাহগার হবে।
নবীজি মারাত্মক হুশিয়ারী দিয়েছেন ইচ্ছাকৃতভাবে রোজা ভঙ্গকারী সম্পর্কে। কিন্তু এরপরও
মানুষের সাধ্যমতো এর ক্ষতিপূরণ আদায় করতে হবে।
অনিচ্ছাকৃত বা উযরবশত ছুটে যাওয়া রোজার বদলে কাযা, আর উযর ছাড়া ইচ্ছাকৃতভাবে ছেড়ে
দেয়া রোজার বদলে দিতে হয় কাফফারা।
কাযা হলে সমপরিমাণ রোজা আদায় করতে হয়। আর কাফফারা হলে রোজা না রাখার কারণে
সুনির্দিষ্ট কিছু কর্তব্য পালন করতে হয়। কাফফারা তিন ধরনের,
(১) গোলাম আযাদ করা, আর তা সম্ভব না হলে
(২) একাধারে ৬০টি রোযা রাখা, আর সেটিও সম্ভব না হলে
(৩) ৬০ জন মিসকীনকে এক বেলা খানা খাওয়ানো।

عن أبى أمامة قال : قلت يا رسول الله! مرنى بعمل قال : عليك بالصوم فإنه لا عدل له قلت : يا رسول الله! مرنى بعمل قال : عليك بالصوم، فانه لا عدل له
হযরত আবু উমামা রা. বর্ণনা করেন, আমি বললাম, ইয়া রাসূলাল্লাহ! আমাকে কোনো আমলের আদেশ করুন। তিনি বললেন, তুমি রোযা রাখ, কেননা এর সমতুল্য কিছু নেই। আমি পুনরায় বললাম, ইয়া রাসূলাল্লাহ! আমাকে কোনো নেক আমলের কথা বলুন, তিনি বললেন, তুমি রোযা রাখ, কেননা এর কোনো সমতুল্য কিছু নেই।
অনেকে আছে, রমজান মাসে অনেক সময় হাতে থাকায় মুভি, নাটক, ভিডিও, গান শোনা, এ
সকল কাজ থেকে রমজানে আমাদের অবশ্যই বিরত থাকতে হবে।
পবিত্র রমজান মাস দয়া,কল্যাণ ও ক্ষমার মাস ৷ এ মাস মহান আল্লাহর কাছে শ্রেষ্ঠ মাস ৷ এ
মাসের দিনগুলো সবচেয়ে সেরা দিন,এর রাতগুলো শ্রেষ্ঠ রাত এবং এর প্রতিটি মুহূর্ত অত্যন্ত
মূল্যবান ৷রহমত বরকত ও মাগফিরাতের মাস তথা পবিত্র রমজান মাসে আল্লাহর দস্তরখান
আমাদের জন্যে উন্মুক্ত ৷ তিনি তোমাদেরকে এ মাসে সম্মানিত করেছেন। এ মাসে তোমাদের
প্রতিটি নিঃশ্বাস মহান আল্লাহর গুণগান বা জিকিরের সমতুল্য;এ মাসে তোমাদের ঘুম প্রার্থনার
সমতুল্য,এ মাসে তোমাদের সৎকাজ এবং প্রার্থনা বা দোয়াগুলো কবুল করা হবে ৷৷গুনাহর জন্যে
অনুতপ্ত হও ও তওবা কর এবং নামাজের সময় মোনাজাতের জন্যে হাত উপরে তোলো,কারণ
নামাজের সময় দোয়া কবুলের শ্রেষ্ঠ সময়,এ সময় মহান আল্লাহ তাঁর বান্দাদের দিকে রহমতের
দৃষ্টিতে তাকান,এ সময় কেউ তাঁর কাছে কিছু চাইলে তিনি তা দান করেন,কেউ তাঁকে ডাকলে
তিনি জবাব দেন,কেউ কাকুতি-মিনতি করলে তার কাকুতি মিনতি তিনি গ্রহণ করেন ৷কেননা
পবিত্র কোরআনে সুরা গাফিরের ৫৯ নম্বর আয়াতে তিনি নিজেই বলেছেন,
ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِي سَيَدْخُلُونَ جَهَنَّمَ دَاخِرِينَ
লাইলাতুল কদরের মাস:
রাতটি হাজার মাসের (৮৩ বছর ৪ মাস) ইবাদতের চেয়েও উত্তম এ মাসের অন্যতম বৈশিষ্ট্য
হলো ‘লাইলাতুল কদর’।। এ রাতে কুরআনুল কারিম নাজিল করা হয়েছে। রমজানের শেষ
দশকের বেজোড় যে কোনো একটি রাতই ‘লাইলাতুল কদর’। আল্লাহ তাআলা বলেন-
– وَالْكِتَابِ الْمُبِينِ – إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةٍ مُّبَارَكَةٍ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُنذِرِينَ
শপথ সুস্পষ্ট (কুরআনের) কিতাবের। আমি একে নাজিল করেছি এক বরকতময় রাতে। নিশ্চয়ই
আমি সতর্ককারী।’ (সুরা দুখান : আয়াত ২-৩)
– إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ- وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ – لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ – تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ – سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّى مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ
জান্নাতের দরজা খুলে দেয়ার মাস:
হাদিসে এসেছে-
হজরত আবু হুরায়রা রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু বর্ণনা করেন, রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি
ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেছেন, যখন রমজান আসে তখন জান্নাতের দরজাগুলো খুলে দেওয়া
হয় আর জাহান্নামের দরজাগুলো বন্ধ করে দেওয়া হয় এবং শয়তানদের আবদ্ধ করে
রাখা হয়।’ (বুখারি, মুসলিম)
এই মাসে যত বেশি ইবাদত করা যায় তো তুই আমাদের জন্য ভালোl তাই আমরা বেশি বেশি করে
এই মাসে ইবাদত করবl

কুরআন নাজিলের মাস:
রোজার মাসে কোরআন শরীফ অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে তাই এই মাসকে সকল মাসের চেয়ে
উত্তম বলা হয়েছেl
এটি কুরআন নাজিলের মাস। রমজানের এক সম্মানিত রাতে (লাইলাতুল কদরে) আল্লাহ
তাআলা উম্মতে মুহাম্মাদির জীবন পরিচালনার গাইড হিসেবে মহাগ্রন্থ কুরআনুল কারিম নাজিল
করেছেন। একাধিক আয়াতে তা এভাবে বর্ণিত হয়েছে-
– شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِيَ أُنزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِّنَ الْهُدَى وَالْفُرْقَانِ
রমজান মাস-ই হল সেই মাস; যাতে নাজিল করা হয়েছে কুরআন। যা মানুষের জন্য হেদায়েত
এবং সত্যপথ যাত্রীদের জন্য সুষ্পষ্ট পথ নির্দেশ আর ন্যায় ও অন্যায়ের মাঝে পার্থক্য
বিধানকারী।’ (সুরা বাকারা : আয়াত ১৮৫)
